Golden Eagle

Today was a big day in the bird watchers world. While sitting in my office along the Arkansas River we watched a mature golden eagle soaring and fishing at a very close range. My camera is with Anna out of town so no pictures. This is only the second golden I have seen in Arkansas the first was about 45 years ago on a reservoir near Cornerstone Arkansas. It is a really cool bird.
