Songbird migration is in full swing right now. If you can find a still morning try to take some time to see a really great spectacle. A pair of binoculars is really all you need. You will be amazed at the number, variety, and beautiful colors that are flying through you neighborhood right now! Too much water was being run on the Little Red River and we didn't want to drive three hours to the Norfolk or White so we found a newly planted field of corn in north Jefferson county and found these great arrowheads. Unlike most places we know of small and large points were in the same field, even side by side. Spring is really a great time in the Arkansas Delta and there are a million things to do, get out of the house and off the couch, who cares about a NBA game or golf on TV, turkeys are gobbling, crappies are biting , wildflowers are blooming and, the great miracle of spring migration is in full swing. Bobolinks are here in two weeks!
