Disgraced Captain
Susan and I launched our canoe at Steel Bend on the Buffalo for an overnighter that ended up at Pruitt near Jasper Arkansas on Memorial Day.Above is a small sampling of pictures of the great river. We were packed similar to Lewis and Clark's Discovery, maybe even alittle heavier. We stayed dry twenty of the twenty-two miles. A tree chased us down and added little excitement to the finale two miles.
Our next update should be from the Colorado Rockies where cycling, hiking and fishing should be the order of the day. On the music front we have The Band of Heathens, Gourd's and Robert Earl Keen coming up. See ya'll soon.
